Senior Bookkeeper (Xero Accounting Expert)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with expertise in Xero Accounting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks using Xero, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Xero Accounting Expert:
- Utilize Xero to its full capacity, including setup, management, and reporting features.
- Conduct regular audits of Xero records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide training and support to team members and clients on Xero usage.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate detailed financial reports, including cash flow analysis and business performance metrics.
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations for improving financial health.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Assist with tax preparations and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with management and various departments to align financial processes with company goals.
- Provide insights and guidance on financial best practices.
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Xero Accounting software is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CIMA) are a plus.
