We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)/Facility Security Officer (FSO to lead the security efforts for our mission-critical offensive cyber programs. This role is essential to ensuring the highest standards of security compliance and operational integrity within a fast-paced and evolving national security environment.


As the CPSO/FSO, you will oversee all aspects of security for classified programs, including personnel, facilities, and information systems. You will work closely with program leadership, government customers, and internal stakeholders to develop and implement security strategies that protect sensitive information while enabling the success of highly technical and operationally complex projects. This position demands a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of government security regulations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to navigate the unique challenges of offensive cyber operations.


The CPSO/FSO will be a trusted advisor and leader within the organization, driving compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Special Access Program (SAP) directives and other relevant guidelines. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability while supporting innovative solutions that address emerging cyber threats. This is a high-impact position that requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.



This position requires a current active Top Secret/SCI clearance. An active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Poly is preferred, (or the ability to obtain an FSP).



WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Program Security Leadership: Serve as the primary security advisor for all assigned programs, ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 series, and other applicable regulations.
  • Facility and Program Security: Oversee and enforce security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and program-specific secure environments to ICD 705 Standards. Manage the accreditation and re-accreditation processes for secure facilities.
  • Personnel Security: Oversee / administer security clearances and manage personnel security records using systems such as JADE, DISS, NISS, and e-QIP. Oversee initial and periodic reinvestigations.
  • Classified Information Protection: Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and System Security Plans (SSPs) to protect classified materials and information systems.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Investigate and report security violations or incidents. Coordinate with government agencies to ensure resolution and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security education, training, and awareness programs for employees, fostering a culture of vigilance and compliance. Ensure 32 CFR security-related awareness training is provided to all employees and clients
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct internal audits and self-inspections to ensure program compliance. Prepare for and support government security inspections.
  • Collaboration: Act as a liaison with government security representatives, customers, and internal stakeholders to address program security needs and challenges. Work with the ISSM/ISSO to safeguard Information Systems in the SAPF and ensures adherence to any applicable laws as well as any SCI or SAP security policies and requirements


WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program security, including significant experience supporting DoD or IC programs.
  • Deep understanding of NISPOM, ICDs, and other relevant security directives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex security programs and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM, SEAD, ICD, SAP directives and other relevant security regulations.
  • Experience implementing ICD 705 Standards.
  • Proficiency in using security management systems such as JADE, DISS, eQIP, and NISS.
  • Candidates must have an understanding and interest in the small business environment dynamics.


EVEN BETTER
  • Prior experience in the offensive cyber or information security domain.
  • Certifications such as Industrial Security Professional (ISP) or Industrial Security Oversight Certification (ISOC).
  • Experience managing and accrediting SCIFs or Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs).
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and cyber threat mitigation strategies.
