Associate Video and Motion Graphics Designer

The Associate Video Editor will collaborate with the Restaurant365/ExpandShare video team to create captivating visuals that aid in the training process for clients both large and small. This role will require the ability to create high-quality training videos using video editing and design skills as the primary focus while adding motion graphics where appropriate. The incumbent in this role will have an ability to contribute to other phases of projects such as assisting with video shoots. 


How you'll add value:
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. 
  • Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality training videos that align with the company’s branding and educational goals. 
  • Enhance video content with graphics, music, sound effects, motion graphics animations, and voiceovers as needed. 
  • Ensure all videos meet technical specifications and quality standards, including resolution, audio quality, and overall production value. 
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content. 
  • Maintain an organized workflow and adhere to documented processes for video production, including file management and archiving. 
  • Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and other multimedia tools effectively. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 


What you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design, Digital Media, Media Production, Integrated Media, or related field  
  • 0-2 years of video editing and motion graphics experience  
  • Basic videographer experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work to date is required 
  • Excellent storytelling skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences 
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet project deadlines 
  • Extensive working knowledge and skills in software tools such as Premiere and After Effects 
  • Experience and skills in Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus 
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  • Ability to learn quickly and receive mentoring to gain new skills and experiences in an exciting and demanding career 
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus 


R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation
  • This position has a salary range of $50,000 - $70,000/year. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location. Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices.
