As the Product Manager, Payroll, you will help drive the advancement of the restaurant-focused Payroll product line. By collaborating closely with Product Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams, you will help develop and execute roadmap that aligns with organizational goals while ensuring impactful delivery for our customers. This role requires a detail-oriented, action-oriented leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.  


How you'll add value:
  • Drive Agile Execution: Own sprint planning, backlog refinement, and feature delivery, ensuring the team ships high-impact improvements efficiently. 
  • Prioritize & Optimize: Balance new features, bugs, and technical debt, making trade-offs that keep payroll reliable and competitive. 
  • Customer & Market Insights: Gather feedback from customers, internal teams, and market trends to refine product decisions and improve user experience. 
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering to scope, build, and launch features while partnering with Customer Success and GTM teams to support adoption. 
  • Clear Communication & Alignment: Keep stakeholders informed on priorities, progress, and trade-offs to ensure smooth execution and alignment. 
  • Iterate & Improve: Analyze data, learn from feedback, and continuously refine payroll workflows, compliance tools, and automation features. 


What you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equally relevant degree in technology, computer science, engineering, marketing, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience 
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience (B2B SaaS preferred) 
  • 2+ years of HCM software (Payroll highly preferred) 
  • Experience and track record creating and growing products through the prioritization, design, and development of ideas 
  • Agile Methodology experience 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines 
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Well versed in restaurant specific payroll  
  • Experience working in the restaurant industry is ideal 
  • A solid understanding of current payroll regulations and laws, including wage and tax laws  
  • General knowledge of payroll management technologies

  • This position has a salary range of $116,000 - $174,000 / year. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location. Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices.
