ServiceNow (SNOW) Technical Business Analyst - Active Top Secret Clearance

Riptide Technology is hiring a ServiceNow (SNOW) Technical Business Analyst - Top Secret clearance to support our government customer based in Springfield, VA.  The position is required to be onsite. The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

 

The Technical Business Analyst prepares the organization's business processes for seamless implementation with automated IT solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to map, engineer, and refine business processes for implementation with the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform.
  • Documenting and transposing stakeholder requirements into technical terminology suitable for execution by SNOW developers.
  • Proposing innovative solutions using knowledge of SNOW capabilities and recommending software integration points to enhance the tool's effectiveness.
  • Documenting module, process, and sub-process objectives, as well as the associated workflows, data fields, integrations, and decision points for all stages of the ticket/activity lifecycle.
  • Evaluating established processes to identify inefficiencies and recommending modifications to optimize workflows.
  • Assisting with requirements verification and validation to ensure pending solutions meet original business requirements.
  • Developing and briefing process documentation to senior stakeholders such as user stories, process models, training artifacts, requirement matrices, status briefings, test plans, procedures, etc.
  • Assisting technical IT teams with process definition and refinement outside of automated workflows as time permits.


Required Qualifications:
  • Shall have five or more years (5+) of combined experience in DoD/IC process engineering, business analysis, governance, SNOW developer/administrator, or similar role.
  • One or more SNOW certifications, such as the Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Certified Application Specialist, Certified Application Developer, etc.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
  • Designing, analyzing, and engineering efficient and scalable Enterprise-level business processes within large-scale organizations.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow's functional capabilities in one or more of the following modules: Incident, Change, Service Catalog, CAM, PPM, CMDB, HAM, etc.
  • Gathering and documenting clear and concise stakeholder requirements that are executable by ServiceNow developers.
  • Aligning proposed workflows with Enterprise governance, policies, procedures, and best business practices.
  • Working with diverse stakeholders, prioritizing and assigning tasks, tracking and reporting statuses, and briefing senior leadership on progress.
  • Operating in an Agile environment with an understanding of the software development lifecycle and iterative release schedules.
  • Developing formal technical documentations, such as workflow diagrams, procedures, user stories, SLAs, test plans, roadmaps, briefings, etc.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, presentation, and training skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences, as well as senior-level executives.
  • Shall meet the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) positions as defined.


Required Education OR Certification:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University; OR
  • Certification:   One or more advanced certifications in the following areas: ITILv4 Intermediate certification(s), Project Management, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Experience administering or engineering secure Enterprise information systems in one or more of the following areas: endpoints, networks, servers, virtualization, storage, cybersecurity, cloud, or ITSM.
  • Understanding of NOW platform API integrations with third party technologies.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL Framework, Project Management Framework, IT Governance, Software Development Lifecycle, IT Operations Management, and/or IT Service Management.


Security Clearance Requirements:
  • This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with the Romeo platform or newer is strongly preferred.
  • DoD/IC process engineering, business analysis, governance, SNOW developer/administrator, or similar role.
  • One or more SNOW certifications, such as the Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Certified Application Specialist, Certified Application Developer, etc.
  • Strong communication, presentation, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
  • Designing, analyzing, and engineering efficient and scalable Enterprise-level business processes within large-scale organizations.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow's functional capabilities in one or more of the following modules: Incident, Change, Service Catalog, CAM, PPM, CMDB, HAM, etc.


$175,000 - $200,000 a year
401(k) company contribution equivalent to 10% of employee's salary, immediately 100% vested, no matching required.   100% company paid dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance.  Employer-provider health insurance, employee and family coverage, 85% company paid.   6 weeks annual paid time off for holidays, vacation, and sick leave.   12 weeks paid family leave, 2-5 days bereavement leave, and 2 weeks Military Reserve Duty differential pay provided for qualifying events.    Opportunities for annual performance-based bonuses.
