The role - your passion

We are looking for a creative and strategic Team Lead, Brand and Content to shape and drive roadsurfer’s brand narrative across all channels. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of engaging content that reflects our brand identity, supports marketing initiatives, and resonates with our target audiences. You will lead a team of content creators, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy and driving the development of innovative, high-quality content across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning

    • Execute a comprehensive brand strategy that supports the company’s mission, vision, and business objectives.

    • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and content formats.

    • Monitor industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscapes to keep the brand fresh and relevant.

  • Content Strategy & Development

    • Lead the creation of a content strategy that aligns with the brand's goals and supports marketing, sales, and product initiatives.

    • Oversee the production of various content types including social media posts, videos, infographics, email and sms/WhatsApp campaigns, and more.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) to produce content that supports business objectives and engages target audiences, these include sales collaters, webinars, brochures, flyers etc.

  • Team Leadership & Management

    • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of content creators, writers, editors, designers, and video & multimedia specialists.

    • Provide feedback and guidance to ensure content meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and brand alignment.

    • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the content team.

  • Content Optimization & Analytics

    • Ensure content is optimized for SEO, user experience, and lead generation, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.

    • Track content performance, using analytics tools to measure engagement, conversions, and other KPIs.

    • Regularly review and update the content strategy based on performance data, audience feedback, and business needs.

  • Creative Campaigns & Storytelling

    • Oversee the creation of storytelling campaigns that promote the brand’s values and mission, enhance customer engagement, and increase brand awareness.

    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure content is visually compelling and aligns with brand standards.

    • Lead innovative content projects that push creative boundaries and differentiate the brand in the marketplace.

  • Content Calendar & Workflow Management

    • Develop and manage a content calendar that ensures timely delivery of all content across multiple platforms.

    • Oversee the content creation process from ideation to execution, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.

    • Ensure a smooth and efficient content approval process, working closely with key stakeholders to align on messaging and goals.

What you need to surf the wave with us

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, or brand management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and content production across different formats

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with native level in English or German

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with content analytics tools and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
