Senior JavaScript Software Engineer, Wellos

RVO Health is a healthcare platform building integrated digital media brands and services focused on health and wellness. They seek a Senior JavaScript Software Engineer skilled in backend and full-stack development with expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks to build scalable, high-quality software in a collaborative environment.

Skills

Strong backend skills with Node.js and TypeScript
JavaScript and TypeScript development experience
Experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind, CSS, HTML
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB)
Use of AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS
Experience with RESTful API integration and third-party services
Unit testing and automation testing skills
CI/CD pipeline and Docker experience
Version control with Git and deployment using Netlify

Responsibilities

Design and recommend complex integrated software solutions aligned with business needs and technology roadmaps
Develop product features by translating business requirements into program design
Contribute to technical roadmaps and identify improvement opportunities
Ensure solutions meet best practices for scalability, maintainability, security, and usability
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and scope features
Provide estimates for features, user stories and tasks
Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality
Support rotational on-call schedules and occasional night releases
Stay current on security trends, tools, and requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
