About the Job:

The Finance & Risk Management department is seeking a Risk Management Analyst with an analytical mindset focused on problem-solving, insurance strategy, and risk mitigation to support and enhance the Authority’s Risk Management Program. This role serves as an ideal entry point for early-career professionals eager to apply their academic knowledge in a dynamic, real-world setting.

As part of the Authority’s career pathway program School 2 SAN, this opportunity connects recent graduates and emerging professionals in finance, insurance, accounting, or risk management with meaningful work at a globally recognized airport. Whether joining as an entry-level Analyst I or a more experienced Analyst II, the selected candidate will engage in a broad range of responsibilities including insurance evaluation, loss control, risk analysis, and claims coordination.

The ideal candidate is curious, driven, and ready to grow; someone who thrives on data analysis, welcomes complexity, and is committed to safeguarding airport operations and infrastructure. With ongoing opportunities to work across departments and with external partners such as legal counsel, insurance brokers, and finance teams, making it an excellent fit for someone who enjoys collaborative, cross-functional work and navigating complex, real-world challenges.

What is School 2 SAN? The School 2 SAN program provides entry-level opportunities for individuals with limited or no prior work experience. Our goal is to help students and recent graduates build their knowledge, skills, and confidence on the job, while gaining exposure to the wide range of careers available in aviation, public service, and infrastructure. You are eligible if you meet the minimum education requirements of the position. No prior work experience required—you’ll gain that here!

  • Insurance Strategy: Review contracts, purchases, and operational activities to determine insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage and limits.
  • Claims Oversight: Coordinate and monitor insured claims (including construction, workers' compensation, property, and operational risks); support investigations, documentation, and recovery efforts.
  • Program Support & Renewal: Assist with data analysis, cost projections, and preparation for insurance renewals and broker/carrier negotiations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, and external partners to ensure effective risk management and alignment with organizational goals.

  5. Leveraging Technology— Proficient in computer systems, MS Office Suite, ERP or other financial software.
  6. Ethical Conduct & Integrity— Ability to perform work responsibilities with honesty and consistency.
