Polysomnographic Tech Lead
Job Summary
Functions as a Polysomnographic Technologist and acts as a technical expert between the Director of Respiratory Care Services, Medical Director, staff and patients in support of a quality clinical practice and departmental operation. Accurately scores a minimum of 4 studies per shift, 2 MSLT, or combination.
Required Qualifications
- Require Licensure as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with valid Florida State license under the Florida State Chapter 468, as CRT or RRT.- Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist, including: MSLT testing, application of CPAP/BIPAP, and montage creation.- Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience scoring independently.- Require current credentials as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer prior experience with Nihon Koden and LAN equipment along with prior patient and staff teaching experience.- Prefer demonstrated ability to work and plan with others in a team setting while being creative and time effective.
