Role Overview
As an Integration Specialist within our Tech&Product Department, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless integration of our cutting-edge payment solutions into a wide variety of systems, websites, and applications. At our headquarters in Milan, you will work closely with internal tech teams and external partners, using your technical expertise to support integration efforts that align with our company’s mission to deliver scalable, high-performance payment products. In this role, you will not only guide third-party integrations, but you will also be deeply involved in troubleshooting, optimization, and ensuring the highest standards of quality across our services. Your technical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly will play a pivotal role in delivering successful outcomes.
Your mission:
Lead technical integrations. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to analyze, design, and execute integrations of our APIs into third-party systems, ensuring smooth, efficient implementations that align with business goals.
Collaborate across the tech ecosystem. Act as a key point of contact between Tech, Business Development, and Product Teams during the integration process, ensuring technical and business requirements are fully met and aligned.
Maintain technical documentation. Create, update, and manage detailed technical documentation and integration procedures, ensuring partners have the resources needed for smooth integrations.
Quality control and optimization. Perform in-depth quality checks on integrations, analyzing UI/UX, system logs, and ensuring our APIs are properly implemented before going live. Ensure that integrations meet high standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving. Support the Tech and IT teams by assisting in bug identification, root cause analysis, and testing of new technologies and product features, focusing on continuous improvement of our integration processes.
Provide first-line IT support. Address integration issues from partners and clients, offering prompt and effective support, and escalating more complex issues to other tech teams when necessary.
Your ideal profile:
Experience. At least 2-3 years of experience in a Tech or IT department with a focus on integration processes, ideally within a Tech company or similar fast-paced environment.
API integration expertise. Proven experience in working with APIs and knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and standards like REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML. You should have the ability to guide partners through complex technical integrations.
Tech-focused communication. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that business teams and external partners clearly understand the integration steps and requirements.
Cloud and DevOps awareness. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices, allowing for seamless integrations in modern development environments.
POS systems knowledge. Familiarity with POS systems, cash registers, and payment systems integration will allow you to manage both online and offline integrations effectively.
Basic development knowledge. A solid grasp of software development principles is a strong plus, enabling you to better collaborate with the development teams and understand code-level challenges that may arise during integration.
Structured communication. Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Language proficiency. You are fluent in Italian and English.
