What we are looking for:
We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team.
What you will be doing:
As a Financial Analyst at Semperis, you will be an essential member of our Finance team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager and working closely with the Director, you will assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and process improvements. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the business, engage with stakeholders cross-functionally to gather relevant information for financial analysis, and play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and operational excellence.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining financial models and preparing recurring reports and analytics
Supporting month-end close process
Analyzing financial performance against forecasts and providing variance explanations, including key trends and actionable insights
Preparing financial reports and sharing monthly updates with stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommendations
Owning non-compensation-related expense tracking, reporting, and projections to support budgeting and forecasting
Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and validate relevant information for financial analysis and delivering insights to support business decisions
Assisting with reports, presentations and supporting analysis for Executive Leadership, Board of Directors and investors
Helping to identify and implement process improvements to drive scale and enhance reporting and analytics
What you will bring to the table:
2+ years of professional experience in Accounting or Finance role
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with technology, including strong working knowledge of Excel
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and takes ownership of work
Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deliverables without sacrificing quality or accuracy
Works well cross-functionally and builds strong relationships that reinforce the role of FP&A as a business partner
Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
Working knowledge of financial reporting tools (Adaptive Insights, Oracle NetSuite, PowerBI, Salesforce) is a plus
SaaS and/or cyber-security experience is a plus
