Senior Data Analyst

Galileo is a team-based medical practice operating across all 50 states, focused on improving quality and affordability of healthcare through data-driven, multi-specialty longitudinal care. The Senior Data Analyst will build and maintain analytical infrastructure (dbt models, data marts, dashboards) and partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Client Services to deliver insights that drive product roadmaps, marketing strategy, and operational improvements affecting patient care.

Skills

Advanced SQL skills for complex multi-table joins and query optimization
Hands-on experience building and maintaining dbt models and pipelines
Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) and dashboard design
Experience with modern ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran) and the modern data stack
Product and subscription/SaaS analytics experience, including retention and cohort analyses
Strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and engineering partners
Data modeling, performance tuning, and data quality assurance

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dbt data marts to transform raw user and product data into actionable utilization profiles and behavioral segments
Create, optimize, and maintain Looker (or similar) dashboards used daily by stakeholders across multiple departments
Partner with Product Engineering to design and validate event tracking and behavioral analytics implementations
Perform subscription, retention, funnel, and user-journey analyses to inform product strategy and revenue forecasting
Optimize query performance and dashboard load times, targeting >20% performance improvements
Ensure and enforce high data quality standards and documentation for models, metrics, and pipelines
Enable and support self-service analytics for non-technical stakeholders through well-designed data marts and dashboards

Education

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent experience
Advanced degree (MS, MBA) in a related field is a plus but not required
