Backend Software Engineer, Trading Infrastructure

sFOX is a leading full-service prime dealer providing traders with a unified platform that consolidates liquidity across exchanges and OTC desks. They are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to develop scalable, high-performance trading infrastructure services used by financial customers worldwide.

Skills

Experience designing and implementing trading systems in traditional finance or crypto trading.
Deep knowledge of order types, routing, exchange management, and system performance.
Skill in building high-performance, low latency distributed trading systems.
Proficiency in Golang, C#, or Java.
Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop new features to enhance trading infrastructure speed and functionality including trading algorithms and exchange integrations.
Collaborate with CTO office on system architecture and product roadmap planning.
Work closely with Product Management to plan feature implementations, optimize performance, and write tests.
Become an expert in the entire trading system and associated services.
Solve complex technical problems using deductive reasoning beyond local system scope.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
