Lead Product Designer

Shopmonkey is a leading auto-repair shop software company focused on improving auto shop efficiency and customer experience. They are seeking a Lead Product Designer to lead design initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally, and help define product vision to create impactful features for web and mobile applications.

Skills

Strong design leadership with 7+ years experience in SaaS and B2B design
Proficiency in designing web and mobile applications
Experienced in project scoping and communication with engineers
Skilled in full product design stack from wireframe to high-fidelity prototypes
Highly proficient in Figma and knowledgeable about modern design tools
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Ability to mentor and lead other designers

Responsibilities

Partner with product management and customer support to understand customer needs and pain points
Conduct user research studies and usability tests
Set product vision alongside product management and leadership
Design and deliver new features from concept to release
Document design requirements to facilitate clear QA testing
Coordinate design delivery with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and support

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design or related field
