Engineering Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

Sigma is a cloud-native analytics platform company seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead a skilled team responsible for core platform infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and velocity.

Skills

Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong knowledge of networking, security, and distributed systems.
Leadership and team management skills with a focus on inclusivity and collaboration.
DevOps and platform engineering expertise in production environments.
Proficiency in cloud orchestration, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team working on Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD, networking, and system observability.
Drive technical execution of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with security, product engineering, and leadership.
Mentor engineers and foster career development through coaching and feedback.
Contribute hands-on to architecture, design, and infrastructure automation.
Establish best practices for infrastructure as code and reliability engineering.
Promote ownership and accountability within the team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
