Sigma Computing is a cloud analytics and BI platform empowering business teams with intuitive data exploration tools. They seek an experienced Technical Onboarding Engineer to guide new customers through platform adoption, ensuring smooth implementation and long-term success.

Skills

Strong BI development experience with Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Sisense, Qlik, or Thoughtspot
Cloud data warehouse knowledge such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery
Hands-on SQL proficiency
Experience with dimensional data models and data shaping techniques
Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
Ability to translate complex technical issues for varied audiences

Responsibilities

Drive new customer onboarding focused on adoption and self-sufficiency
Guide BI developers on Sigma-specific methodologies
Tailor implementation designs to customer skill sets
Teach best practices relevant to customer use cases and skills
Define successful onboarding paths based on customer needs and purchase drivers
Manage key customer milestones from sales handoff to go-live
Create feedback loops to Product, Support, and Sales teams
Identify and resolve onboarding blockers proactively
Provide BI implementation expertise in best practices, data modeling, BI usage patterns, performance optimization, and security
Document and cross-train team members on new knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent technical experience
