The Role

Simon Data is looking for an Identity Architect who can effectively design, implement, and manage identity solutions.  This person will be engaging with our most critical customers, facilitating workshops and explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

 

What You’ll Do

  1. Solution Design and Implementation:

    • Design comprehensive identity resolution solutions tailored to individual client needs, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

    • Implement data cleansing, normalization, deduplication, and identity resolution processes using Simon Data’s platform and other relevant tools.

    • Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices for identity resolution solutions.

    • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to integrate new features and improvements into the platform.

    • Ensure that identity solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

  2. Workshop Facilitation:

    • Plan and conduct workshops with clients to understand their data challenges and requirements.

    • Facilitate interactive sessions to educate clients on best practices for data management and identity resolution.

    • Provide hands-on training and support to client teams to enable them to effectively use Simon Data’s platform for their data needs.

    • Gather feedback during workshops to continuously improve the Managed Identity Service offering.

    • Create and deliver presentations, training materials, and documentation for workshops.

  3. Technical Leadership:

    • Serve as the subject matter expert in identity resolution, offering technical guidance and mentorship to both clients and internal teams.

    • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data management and identity resolution.

    • Lead the development of internal training programs and resources to enhance the technical skills of Simon Data’s team members.

    • Drive innovation by recommending new approaches and solutions for identity resolution challenges.

  4. Customer Engagement:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding identity-related issues and solutions.

    • Assist in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented identity solutions.

  5. Project Management:

    • Manage multiple identity resolution projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.

    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

    • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

  6. Security and Compliance:

    • Ensure all identity resolution solutions comply with relevant data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.

    • Implement security best practices to protect client data during cleansing, normalization, deduplication, and resolution processes.

    • Work with Simon Data’s security and compliance teams to conduct regular audits and assessments of identity resolution processes.

    • Provide guidance to clients on maintaining compliance with data privacy and security standards in their data management practices.

Qualifications

  1. Experience:

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data management, identity resolution, or solution architecture.

    • Proven experience in designing and implementing identity solutions in a customer data platform (CDP) context.

    • Experience with CDP platforms, data integration tools, and data quality tools.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Experience in professional services or client-facing roles is highly desirable.

    • Experience conducting workshops and training sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  2. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data manipulation languages.

    • Strong understanding of customer data platforms and identity resolution techniques.

    • Knowledge of cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, DataBricks, etc.).

    • Familiarity with security and privacy regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  3. Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  4. Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

In compliance with the state and city salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $150,000 to $225,000 which represents a range commensurate with experience.
