Job Description
Timmons Group is currently looking for a computer science or software curious student to participate in our Software Development Internship program for Summer 2026.
Here at Timmons Group, we are always neck deep in the latest tools and technologies and we could use some help. We specialize in utilizing geospatial technologies to solve our client’s business needs. So, if you are interested in maps and the technologies involved in developing apps that provide great mapping experience for users, we could use your passion and help.
If you are looking to improve your skills in front-end JavaScript development, server-side C#, python or in automating development workflows and leveraging the cloud then we have a great set of people who can help and a great atmosphere to foster learning. We are looking forward to meeting RVA’s best and brightest.
Skills and responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
- Current major or recent graduate in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Previous internship or professional experience in IT required
- Candidates who can be hybrid in Richmond, VA preferred
