To further support our ecosystem’s growth, Solana Foundation is seeking a highly driven full-time Senior Technical Recruiter. This hire's primary focus will be to help Solana ecosystem teams attract and hire world-class engineering talent. You will play a vital role in supporting teams building on Solana by connecting them with exceptional technical talent. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of blockchain technology, engineering, and talent acquisition. You will collaborate with ecosystem teams, understand their hiring needs, and act as a strategic partner to identify, attract, and secure top-tier engineering professionals who align with their goals. Over time, your goal is build a network of qualified candidates that can help build the next iteration of Solana Dapps.
You will be:
Serving as a trusted partner to all ecosystem teams, understanding their needs and providing strategic recruitment support
Proactively sourcing, identifying, and engaging with highly skilled engineering talent by leveraging diverse sourcing channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, Referrals, X/Twitter, etc.)
Building and managing a talent pipeline for smart contract engineers, Rust engineers, back end engineers, and more
Advising ecosystem teams on hiring best practices (i.e. creating interview processes, choosing an ATS, and setting a compensation strategy)
Promoting the Solana ecosystem as a top destination for innovative engineers, highlighting our mission, values, and growth opportunities
Ensuring a positive experience for all candidates, fostering lasting relationships with talented individuals
A self-starter, who is ready to hustle
You ideally have:
At least 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally in the blockchain, crypto, or Web3 sectors.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, tech stacks (i.e. Rust, Anchor, SVM), and blockchain fundamentals.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Proven ability to source talent through creative and non-traditional methods.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
Experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving workflows to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability of hiring.
Demonstration of strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus points:
You’ve previously been employed within the Solana ecosystem or have a strong understanding of the existing Solana DeFi landscape.
You have experience working as an agency recruiter.
