We are searching for a talented Rad Tech Multi-Modality

 

*$8,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

 

Hours: 24 flex 32hrs 

Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday float position, start time will vary depending on location    

Location: Imaging - New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Imaging Services or Designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties in multiple modalities within the Imaging Services Department. Provide health services using medical imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders. Perform imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomical structures for the interpretation by or at the request of a Physician. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. System-wide position to provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal program of study accredited by the CAHEA (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation).
• Equal to completion of two to four years of college.
• A Registered Technologist is required.
• Competency in Diagnostic Radiology and at least one other modality required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required.
• Current Massachusetts R.T. licensure is required.
• IV and CPR certifications are also required.
• Advanced Certification is required.
• Must be registered in Radiology and Mammography in RI and MA. 
• Must be willing to learn Bone Density, go to the OR, and float to all SHG imaging locations in RI and MA. 
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

 

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $38.50 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
