Avionics Operations Supervisor (Strategy, Analytics, and Planning)

SpaceX is a pioneering aerospace manufacturer focused on enabling human life on Mars. They seek an Avionics Operations Supervisor to lead scheduling and production coordination, driving efficiency and team performance within avionics manufacturing operations.

Skills

Leadership and team management skills
Proficiency with scheduling and production planning systems (MRP/ERP)
SQL programming and Power BI development
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment
Experience with Microsoft Excel and scheduling software

Responsibilities

Provide mentoring, training, and career development to a team of schedulers and production coordinators
Define and implement team performance metrics and dashboards for daily visibility
Partner with engineering to analyze and optimize design change timelines
Develop and automate production schedule and capacity plans using SQL or similar tools
Create and maintain reports on product completion and on-time performance
Collaborate with production operations to improve manufacturing flow and processes
Facilitate Clear to Build meetings to manage priorities and risks
Support continuous improvement of internal MRP/ERP systems for data accuracy

Education

Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of relevant experience in material planning, production coordination, supply chain, scheduling, or manufacturing
Preferred: Bachelor's degree
