Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Build Reliability - job 1 of 2

SpaceX is a leading aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company focused on enabling human life on Mars. They are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) to lead their Build Reliability team in designing, developing, and improving software solutions that ensure reliable manufacturing and operation of spacecraft.

Skills

Proficiency in full stack development
Experience with software architecture and scalable system design
Programming skills in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java or similar
Experience with Angular, React or other JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similar databases
Expertise in software testing, infrastructure, and performance profiling
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

Directly manage a team of software engineers on the Build Reliability team
Own and deliver the Build Reliability software roadmap across SpaceX users
Track application usage and implement feature improvements
Manage multiple priorities aligned with overall project goals
Maintain high standards of software excellence and reliability

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field OR equivalent experience
