Sr. Integration & Test Engineer (Starlink Propulsion)

SpaceX is a pioneering aerospace company focused on advancing space exploration and settlement. They are seeking a Sr. Integration & Test Engineer for Starlink propulsion systems to develop and optimize production processes for satellite propulsion components while working cross-functionally to enhance manufacturing reliability.

Skills

Working knowledge of design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, testing, and flight checkouts
Experience with propulsion and high-pressure, thermal, electrical, or structural system integration and testing
Root cause analysis of hardware and test system failures
Test plan and procedure writing
Documentation and configuration management
Production environment familiarity
Engineering intuition and strong critical thinking
Comfort operating under ambiguity

Responsibilities

Manage and develop integration line, build flow, and test operations for propulsion systems
Collaborate with design and development teams to enhance manufacturability and hardware reliability
Maintain ownership of production process consistency, quality, tooling, safety, and ergonomics
Evaluate manufacturability and reliability of new design proposals
Interface between engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing automation and best practices
Facilitate day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test processes
Identify and resolve root causes of non-conformances

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
