INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS…

  • Internship will last 10 weeks. Ending on Friday, August 8, 2025
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater at time of application
  • At time of application, you must be enrolled in an educational institution.
  • You will be in the office 4 days a week. You can work remote 1 day a week.


SUMMARY AND DUTIES

Budget planning and finance oversight can get very complex, with the team coordinating thousands of expense lines at every level. The team will free up time in the field by organizing and managing budgets, as well as providing valuable insights, updates, and reports around spending trends. This team brings together metrics for all marketing areas. The Intern will have an opportunity to further develop marketing, digital campaign reporting, digital campaign optimization, project-management, research, product-management, presentation development, leadership and influencing skills during this internship.

This is a unique opportunity for a high-potential digital marketing/research talent to make an impact and grow their career in a fast-moving and innovative company.

  • Help Drive Key & Target Account Revenue
  • Work closely with Marketing & Sales (Account Executives, Local Sales Managers and General Managers) on critical business accounts identified
  • Conduct robust research across proprietary databases/tools (Scarborough, Nielsen, Polk Automotive, Census, MRI, comScore) and strategic-marketing analysis & idea-development for key categories and accounts.
  • Develop detailed digital campaign analytics reports for clients to optimist their digital advertising campaigns.
  • Craft compelling proposals on why clients should chose Spectrum Reach (television advertising, digital online advertising).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and associated AEs on prioritized categories and client accounts to develop & execute category and account specific proposalsContribute to the development of client-facing materials including ratings and programming one-sheets, case studies and presentations, ensuring a compelling “so what?” is included in every story.
  • Support the development of client location maps and television network/program ratings updates


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience or internship with digital analytics, research, brand, product, integrated marketing, digital marketing and/or advertising sales marketing is a plus.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with proven ability to work collaboratively with other functional groups to shape and influence market-specific agendas.
  • Stellar story-telling skills with an over-arching ability to translate hypotheses and research into powerful points of viewAbility to craft and tell a compelling story.
  • Must be able to work independently on a project basis and meet frequent deadlines.Excellent team and project-management skills.
  • Strong “sense of urgency” and interest in stretching to the next level.
  • Demonstrate “innovative” thinking and new ideas.
  • Expertise in MS Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables) and PowerPoint
