This role is designed for an experienced engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of technology and people management. You will oversee an autonomous team of engineers, driving the development and enhancement of scalable software solutions in cloud marketplaces. Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 6–9 engineers, providing mentorship, career development guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to design, enhance, and maintain software applications.
  • Guide the team on architecture, coding standards, and best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while celebrating team achievements and learning from mistakes.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven tools and process improvements for increased efficiency and measurable ROI.
  • Drive team velocity and operational excellence through effective workflows, tooling, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Participate hands-on in the development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, reviews, and support escalations.
  • 6+ years of experience leading, directing, and inspiring engineering teams, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of AWS serverless architecture patterns and cloud marketplace technologies.
  • Proven track record of building and coaching high-performing engineering teams.
  • Experience with project management, feature estimation, and delivering complex initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to ask questions, provide feedback, and clarify expectations effectively.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution-oriented, thriving in a remote-first, asynchronous work environment.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusivity, psychological safety, and employee growth.
  • Ability to guide teams in AI-first development and adapt to emerging technologies.
