SUMMARY
The Administrative Officer Senior is an experienced professional with a passion for helping individuals learn and grow. In the role of Operations Programs Trainer, you will support our Operations team by collaborating with your leader and subject matter experts to assess, design, develop, and implement learning and development solutions for transit employees. Additionally, you will serve as an internal consultant, providing learning and development services to various Operations business units. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in learning and development, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a proven track record of creating tailored learning solutions that meet the needs of transit employees.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design/develop learner-centric solutions to be delivered through a variety of methods (web-based, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, videos, social learning, blended, etc.)
Own your learning projects from initial needs analysis through to post-launch evaluations
Create learning experiences from scratch, or utilizing existing material
Present SMEs with options to meet their learning needs, and suggest the most effective approach
Facilitate learning programs, as needed
Coordinates and directs multiple learning projects or programs, identifying interdependencies within and across programs/roles
Monitor and evaluate learning solution effectiveness (through measurement and analysis)
Documents progress in project tracking system, maintain source materials in a centralized repository
Complete other learning and development needs/activities as needed. Design high-quality learning solutions for a variety of delivery modalities (e.g., eLearning, microlearning, video, demonstration, simulation, guided support document, instructor-led training, etc.)
Conducts follow-up studies of completed training to evaluate and measure results and modify as needed
Generate monthly and quarterly reports on training metrics, and present plans to continuously improve training effectiveness and engagement
As a part of your responsibility to support the CATS Safety Culture, report safety concerns and issues through the various methods established by CATS as outlined in the ASP.

Final candidates must pass a pre-employment drug-screening test and physical examination. During the selection process, candidates may be asked to take a skills test, and/or participate in other assessments.
