Full Stack Software Engineer, Remote Assist

Stack is an innovative company specializing in AI and autonomous systems for the trucking industry, seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and maintain their Remote Assist system. The role involves working on comprehensive front-end, cloud, and robotics systems that support autonomous trucks.

Skills

Expertise in React and Typescript for modern front-end development.
Proficiency in Go or similar server-side programming languages.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Tilt, and Kubernetes.
Strong capability in building interactive web applications and tools.
Collaborative teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own the development and maintenance of operator tooling and cloud infrastructure for the Remote Assist system.
Design, develop, test, and optimize web applications with strong performance standards.
Collaborate across front-end, cloud, and robotics codebases, including occasional onboard C++ development.
Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams such as design and fleet monitoring engineering.
Participate in on-call rotations and travel regularly to Pittsburgh headquarters for hands-on testing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
