The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a GA Pre-K Lead Teacher for our top-rated school at 1494 Pleasant Hill Road. Make a difference in a child's life every day. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!

Starting base salary: $41,717+ for Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Starting base salary: $65,000+ for Teaching Certificate AND Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education


Compensation listed above is based on the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning Salary Schedule. Candidates will be offered a salary using the education, credential and teaching certificate information provided on the schedule.

Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten.
  • Prepare lesson plans and instruct children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum.
  • Document and share with families the important milestones in a child's day using our app.
  • Welcome our families and engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
  • Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
  • Georgia Certified Teacher preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
  • Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is required.
  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical, dental & vision insurance
