Manufacturers use it to produce perfumes, personal care and cosmetic products, cleaning products and detergents, home fragrances and oral care products.Symrise – always inspiring more…About the RolePosition Summary:The Customer Service Representative performs the daily activities within the customer service area to ensure order fulfillment. Responsible for account management support. Provides proactive communication regarding account activity to Customers, Sales, Sales Support, Finance, Marketing, and entire Supply Chain (internal/external).• Acts as primary contact for assigned accounts. This includes receipt and confirmation of customer orders which may involve researching material availability, available price records, confirmations, shipping methods and relevant Customer Service activities.• Ability to effectively develop a customer intimacy journey including partnership with sales and other internal teams.• Client portal and order management as required, including invoicing activities for specific clients.• Works closely with Supply Chain to review order status, coordinate changes, obtain accurate information throughout the production cycle.• Provides order-related documentation to our customers such as invoices, certificates of analysis and pro-forma invoices where required. Completes relevant questionnaire input when and where required.• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers in written and verbal form.• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through with multiple projects.• Enters all customer complaints and ensures follow-up is provided to the customer either formally or informally as required.• Attends, adheres, and improves training on procedures and customer profile development.• Maintains and contributes to improving the CS KPI goals.About YouKnowledge and Experience Requirements:• High School Diploma / GED required. College degree preferred.• Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience. At least 1 year of customer service experience must be within a manufacturing environment.• Knowledgeable and skilled in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word and Excel.• Must have experience working with an ERP system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.) and/or a CRM system (i.e. Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) that includes order management. SAP knowledge is strongly preferred but not required.• Experience doing data entry as you are talking to customers is a huge plus.• Experience cultivating relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments is key to this role.• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential.• Fluent Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills both written and verbal is highly desired.What We OfferBecome part of our open and transparent culture.
