Your role in the Automotive Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:• Support E-mobility Strategy and Execution initiatives with the Americas Product Management team• Engage in product improvement through both Go-To-Market and Margin focus• Work with Regional Product Managers to improve their businessWhat your background should look like:ResponsibilitiesAt TE Connectivity, you'll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you'll:• Create technical and commercial analysis of the Americas EV industry• Support daily product management activities contributing towards our 5 year strategic plan• Lead recommendations to improve our processes through digital and cross-functional meansYou're the kind of person we are looking for if you:• Have Received a High School Diploma or GED• Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Analytics from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history. (In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)• Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred• Are authorized to work in the U.S.I&DTE Connectivity and its affiliates are equal employment opportunity employers. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.What TE Connectivity Product Development Rotation Program offers:TE has a robust rotational program that provides recent graduates the foundation for being a successful through skill development and building a solid support network. Skills are developed through training and research and development on valuable projects that contribute to the success of their team while building on their classroom experience. A supporting network is created through interactions with leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional team members.A unique employee resource group we have is the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group (ERG). This group is committed to creating a highly engaged and empowered cross-functional network of young professionals by placing high value in Professional Development, Networking Opportunities and Community Involvement to drive the success of our employees.In addition to the ERG, we also provide complete access to our internal library of self-lead courses. These courses include academies like leadership to help development into becoming future leaders at our organization. To help with their professional growth, we provide access to Mentors via our NAVIGATE platform. Mentors serve as a guide to navigate the organization and provide additional support in their career endeavors at the company. Our program provides a holistic experience that targets professional development and personal growth.Our rotational program typically places an engineer in the Winston Salem, NC for the first year and Harrisburg, PA the second year. Throughout the 2-year program, rotational engineers will be provided with:• Onboarding & Orientation• Professional Development Workshops• Networking Opportunities• Operations Experience• Executive ExposureTimelineTE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for positions beginning June/July. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter.
