The Sr SCADA Engineer - CygNet will be a member of our Enterprise Services team. Techneaux’s Enterprise Services Team helps customers unlock the full potential of their data. Our experts specialize in improving how data is collected, stored, normalized, visualized, and analyzed — turning raw information into actionable insights. With deep experience in systems like CygNet, Ignition, and Wonderware, we design and implement tailored solutions that empower better decision-making and operational efficiency. From Hosted SCADA to Enterprise SCADA Support and Projects, we ensure the right data reaches the right people at the right time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluates business requirements to develop and implement solutions.
• Conduct project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.
• Responsible for infrastructure recommendations related to SCADA including related hardware and software to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity and supportability through production support and maintenance of existing SCADA.
• Provide advanced customer support for new and existing SCADA systems.
• Plan and execute designs, configurations, or enhancements to new and existing SCADA services.
• Research, recommend, and design new technologies, new configurations, and enhancements to existing SCADA. Provide consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the environment.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in informatics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, database administration, or related field. Relevant technical experience may be a substitute.  
• A minimum of 8 years related SCADA experience, with strong knowledge of CygNet.
• Three years of experience related to planning, analysis, configuration, installation, management, and coordination work.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and leading-edge technological developments.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Ability to analyze complex systems, solve problems, and multi-task.
• Must be able to work in an open environment and collaborate with others. 
• Must enjoy technology.
• Ability to travel, if required.

Pay Range = $119,000 - 130,000 

FLSA and Employment Status:  Exempt; Full-Time
