We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team – one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.Opportunity OverviewThe Teradyne Hardware Product Engineering (HPE) team in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a Hardware Engineer Intern or Co-op to contribute to a variety of product development programs for our Semiconductor Test platforms and enabling technologies.This position is within the HPE Signal Delivery group that specializes in the development of signal transmission solutions for High-Speed Digital, High Voltage and High Current Power, and AC, RF, and Millimeter Wave Wireless test instruments used across Teradyne’s portfolio of test platforms. The solutions generated convey signals from instrument boards to the semiconductor devices under test through a series of connectors, cables, boards, and interposers, for testing devices in both wafer and final package.The primary duties and responsibilities of a Hardware Engineering Intern include:• Work under the supervision of Senior Engineers in collaboration with a team of Engineers and Technicians• Setup hardware for test of Signal Delivery such as: Interconnects, Cable Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boards• Create, Refine, and Improve test fixtures and their UI and control software using Python, C and embedded controllers like Raspberry Pi and Arduino.• Execute hands-on measurements using Power Supplies, Digital Multi Meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers and High-Performance lab equipment.All About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Computer Engineering (must be currently enrolled in a Degree Program)• Basic understanding of Electrical & Electronics Engineering• Familiarity with programming languages• Good organizational and presentation skills• Internship session: ~3 months• Must be available to work on-site in Agoura Hills, CAPreferred Qualifications & Requirements• Pursuing MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (must be currently enrolled in a• Degree Program)• Background in Transmission Line theory, Electromagnetics, Signal Integrity• Knowledge of 3D SI tools such as CST Studio Suite, HFSS, and Cadence SI tools• Hands-on equipment: VNA, TDR's, Oscilloscopes• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout• Experience with mechanical CAD tools like SolidWorksWe are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-HP1
