The Metropolitan Opera is on the lookout for an Office Services Clerk, someone who thrives in a bustling environment and plays a vital role in the House Management staff. Imagine being the glue that holds the administrative and performance operations together! Your day would be filled with exciting tasks like screening, sorting, and scanning all incoming mail and packages, ensuring that everything lands in the right hands. You'll be delivering mail to different departments and managing outgoing correspondence through USPS, FedEx, and UPS with ease. Picture yourself making those daily trips to the Post Office, whipping up copies for the administrative team, and handling all the printing and folding of materials for performances. You'll even be making evening and matinee deliveries to our talented performing artists. To succeed as our Office Services Clerk, you’ll need a professional approach, solid communication skills, and the ability to follow directions within a collaborative team environment. While a background in shipping or customer service is a plus, what matters most is your strong work ethic and reliability. You'll be jumping into a physically engaging role that requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs and navigate through various operational tasks, including the occasional use of freight elevators. Plus, if you're open to a flexible work schedule that may include weekends and holidays, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Join us in our mission to create a diverse and inclusive workplace, where individuals can thrive and contribute greatly to the arts!
