On-Call Project Support Staff
Job Description
The Consultant shall propose additional support staff to assist the on-call Project Managers to coordinate and manage the stormwater, flooding, pavement, underground utilities, and environmental projects through execution. Anticipated project work will include coordination and management of design submittals and the development and coordination of procurement/solicitation packages, as well as construction packages and submittals.
Background and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, urban planning, or related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of civil construction experience with at least five (5) of the 10 years in stormwater, pavement, underground utility, and/or environmental related design and construction management in the United States;
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365® applications, including SharePoint, and the fundamentals of a network environment to perform reliable electronic document control functions;
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; and
- Must be able to successfully complete and obtain WMATA’s RWP Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Documentum® and Procore.
1099 Rate Range: $90 – $115
Location: WMATA Eisenhower Office, 2401 Mill Road, Alexandria, VA 22314 (Full-Time, 9 months (subject to renewal), Hybrid - 2 days/week)
Work Hours: The normal work hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, however, certain positions may require nights and weekends, as necessary.
