Manufacturing Engineer Job Overview

Support the production of high-quality machined parts by developing efficient manufacturing processes, programming CNC machines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role focuses on new product development, process improvement, and technical problem-solving to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan machining and assembly operations based on customer requirements.
• Develop shop routings, operation sheets, tooling, and process documentation.
• Program CNC machines to efficiently produce high-quality components.
• Analyze and resolve machining and tooling issues.
• Create or revise manufacturing drawings using CAD tools.
• Lead and manage key engineering projects.
• Participate in Corrective Action and MRB Boards.
• Apply value engineering to reduce cost, lead time, and cycle time.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and military/contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field (preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong CAD/CAM proficiency
• Advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
