Twilio is a global leader in communications technology empowering businesses and developers worldwide. We seek a skilled Software Engineer (L2) to join the Twilio SendGrid team, working on large-scale distributed systems and innovative product development.

Skills

Proficiency in Go or similar typed languages such as Java, C#, C++, or Rust.
Experience implementing reliable and maintainable software components.
Automation experience for processes and administrative tasks.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
Self-driven with the ability to take complete ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy highly available, large-scale distributed systems for email and communication services.
Build new product offerings providing deep insights into customer email program health.
Integrate Twilio SendGrid technologies with Twilio's existing platform to enhance capabilities.
Perform thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
Identify and monitor key system metrics to ensure robust data storage and analytical services.
Proactively solve complex problems and drive innovation within the team.

Education

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
