Full Stack Data Collection Lead

Two Six Technologies develops innovative products to solve complex challenges by collecting and analyzing large-scale public data. They are seeking a Full Stack Data Collection Lead to drive engineering efforts in building scalable web scraping solutions for government and enterprise clients.

Skills

Proficiency with HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated web technologies.
Extensive Python development experience for scalable SaaS applications.
Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of web scraping and data collection techniques at scale.
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Technical leadership experience within engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead development of high volume data collection solutions for human and machine learning analysis.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and robust software as an individual contributor.
Create proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and production-ready data collection systems.
Collaborate with architects and product leads on data collection roadmaps.
Stay current with the latest web scraping technologies and address evolving data source challenges.
Maintain coding standards, best practices, and oversee the data collection codebase.
Support and adapt data collection capabilities responding rapidly to new issues and challenges.
Ensure security best practices during all phases of software development.
Participate actively in Agile software development and continuous improvement efforts.
Work remotely as part of a diverse, cross-functional engineering team.
Engage in peer code reviews, manual and automated testing.
Independently identify and solve complex technical problems.

Education

Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
