Forklift Operator-Night Shift

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator for our night shift team. Someone who is an excellent team player with a strong work ethic, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively across departments. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to handle, load, unload, and store products. The ideal candidate has experience with warehouse operations, forklift operation, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and onto trucks.
• Inspect forklifts and related equipment daily to ensure they are in safe working order.
• Safely and accurately place materials in designated storage areas, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including equipment and storage areas.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting, restocking, and tracking of materials as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate activities and achieve departmental goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a night shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand/walk for extended periods.
