About the role

As an Engineering Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Engineering and play a dual role in both people management and operational execution. Your key responsibility will be building and scaling a high-performing team of engineers, while setting and executing on the technical vision and roadmap. You will mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team, ensuring their success aligns with the success of the product. Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • 2+ years in a management or leadership role (ideally in a high-growth startup / SaaS).

  • Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, code versioning, testing frameworks, and cloud-based infrastructure.

  • Experience in defining and delivering on an engineering roadmap that balances new features, technical debt, and scalability.

  • A passion for mentoring and developing engineers to reach their full potential.

  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to shifting priorities in a startup environment.

  • Deeply understand product, design, and business context
