US Healthcare Network Lead

As a US Healthcare Network Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of uMed’s observational studies and registries among sites and health systems across the US. You will pitch the studies, manage contracting and nurture relationships with these sites and their research teams, ensuring successful onboarding, continuous engagement, and long-term retention.

Your work will involve not only pitching the benefits of uMed’s studies but also working directly with research departments to integrate uMed’s platform to deliver innovative, high quality studies across their patient populations. You’ll act as a trusted partner, helping healthcare providers contribute to impactful research while enhancing their experience with uMed.

Your Responsibilities

Healthcare Provider Onboarding

  • Effectively articulate uMed’s registry studies, unique research benefits, and set up requirements.
  • Correspond with site leads and address any concerns they have about uMed's innovative study model and platform.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM of leads, and internal documentation on onboarding processes and account details.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical or operational issues during onboarding.

Relationship Management

  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within healthcare systems, fostering trust and long-term collaboration.
  • Conduct regular meetings with healthcare providers to discuss study progress and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Occasionally travel to meet healthcare providers in person, as needed, to strengthen partnerships.
  • Act as a point of contact for healthcare providers, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
  • Ensure healthcare providers understand and comply with information governance (IG) requirements.

Internal Collaboration & Advocacy

  • Serve as the voice of US healthcare providers within uMed, advocating for improvements to platform features and processes based on feedback.
  • Work closely with the operations and technical teams to refine and scale onboarding and engagement processes.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy for uMed’s US expansion, helping to identify market opportunities and challenges.

We’d Love to Hear From You If…

  • You have experience in US healthcare, ideally within a health system research office.
  • Additional experience within a CRO, pharma, or digital health company is also desirable. 
  • You are familiar with clinical research processes and have pitched studies to clinical trial sites.
  • You are familiar with research governance and HIPAA legislation as it relates to clinical research.
  • You bring enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to inspire others with uMed’s vision.
  • You have experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment and are comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Clinical experience (e.g., research nurse, clinical associate) is a significant advantage.
  • You possess exceptional relationship management skills and thrive on building meaningful partnerships.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can confidently present to stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • You are tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and platforms.
