Our client is seeking a hands-on Data Integration & Governance Engineer to architect, implement, and support enterprise-grade data platforms with a focus on Collibra, Talend, and Monte Carlo. This role sits within the core Systems Engineering team and is focused on improving platform stability, scalability, and observability across data ecosystems.
Engineer and support Data Integration, Governance, and Observability platforms
Collaborate cross-functionally with business, IT, and Data Governance teams to deliver metadata, lineage, and cataloging solutions using Collibra
Partner with application teams to onboard platforms onto Talend
Support provisioning, platform admin tasks, and infrastructure coordination
Create technical documentation and user guides
Configure metadata ingestion, business/technical lineage mapping, and anomaly detection
Develop automation strategies and contribute to CI/CD efforts
Perform performance tuning, root cause analysis, and participate in DR exercises
Provide escalation-level support and drive system audits/security reviews
Mentor peers on platform best practices and usage standards
Support SLA management across tickets (Incidents, Changes, Service Requests, etc.)
6+ years of hands-on experience with Data Integration and Governance tools
Strong expertise with Collibra (Operating Model, Metadata, Asset Models)
Hands-on with Talend and familiarity with Monte Carlo or similar tools
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data platforms
Knowledge of Agile delivery, JIRA, CI/CD practices
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
