Under the supervision of the HRIS Director and Senior HR Leadership, the HRIS Project Manager will oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of HR systems to support the company’s rapid growth and acquisitions. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes—particularly payroll, benefits, compensation, and onboarding—and their interaction with technology. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of challenges, identifies solutions, and ensures seamless system integration and employee experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and integration of HRIS systems, ensuring seamless alignment with payroll, benefits, compensation, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage system updates and configurations related to acquisitions and business changes.
  • Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Analyze current systems and processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improved efficiency.
  • Ensure HRIS functionality aligns with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and IT teams to understand needs and ensure effective system integration.
  • Train HR and operational teams on system functionalities and updates.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for HRIS-related inquiries and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve system challenges.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance within the HRIS.
  • Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.


Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HRIS project management experience, preferably in a fast-paced or acquisitive environment.
  • Expertise in payroll, benefits, compensation, and onboarding processes.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar).
  • Experience with system integrations and data migrations.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in tools like MS Project, Asana, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., FLSA, HIPAA).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Self-starter with an ownership mentality and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a start-up or high-growth environment.
