Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Secretary II to join our OBGYN healthcare team in Towson. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to medical staff while ensuring efficient office operations and exceptional patient service.

  • Process patient registration, insurance verification, and ensuring the completion of office paperwork
  • Scanning medical documentation
  • Handle medical correspondence, reports, and confidential patient records
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Collect Copays, Patient Balances and complete End of the Day Collection Reports
  • Perform Real Time Eligibility for Insurances in advance of visit
  • Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to patient inquiries professionally
  • Scheduling appointments in the office and managing the Wait List for appointments
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare policies

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2 year / Associate's Degree (Preferred)
  • 0 - 1 year Related experience (Required)
