In this role the analyst will actively participate in managing the Foundation's assets of over $800 million. The analyst must be dependable and organized with business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Good computer skills including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel will also be essential. The analyst will assist with investment modeling, with understanding of some of the methods used for investment analysis. Some travel may be required.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead quarterly investment reporting duties, which may include modifying and improving reports and other analysis tools as well as interpreting the data and highlight any issues or discrepancies to senior investment staff.Work with senior staff on various portfolio management functions such as manager analysis, asset allocation, cash management, and any ad hoc research items.Take on responsibilities for investment operations, including manager transitions, managing accounts and cash flows with the custody bank, manager fee payments, and other essential operational functions.Work with tax and accounting team as the Foundation undergoes its annual third-party audit. Also assist with investment accounting functions such as verification of investment valuations.Provide any assistance or guidance on university-wide initiatives that relate to the Foundation.
