General Notes

Graduate/Undergraduate student job for the Undergraduate College's Web Development Office. Part-time for 10 hours per week and flexible shifts. Aiming to hire for Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 semesters but can start as early as Summer 2025 if available.

Purpose

Quality Assurance and Testing for UC Secure Online Services.

Responsibilities

  • Test, Evaluate, and Report on, UC Secure Online Software systems.  
  • Work with UC Software Engineers to Analyze and improve user experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Wikis, etc.
  • Minimum course enrollment necessary- Fall/Spring: 6 hours; Summer: 0 hours if enrolled 6 hours in spring OR 3 hours if not enrolled in 6 hours in spring

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

An interest or experience in evaluating web user interfaces/experiences and computer programming.

Salary Range

$12+ per hour
