PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITEJoin Our Community of Food People!BASIC PURPOSEThe Coordinator, Slotting will support an efficient warehouse by assigning products to pick and reserve slots and performing clerical and warehouse slotting duties.Essential Duties And Responsibilities• Utilize Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to promote a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors.• Perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.• Monitor, research, and respond to Slot Check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.• Support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.• Support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.• Perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways).• Communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.• Other duties as assigned by manager.SUPERVISION:• N/ARELATIONSHIPS• Internal: Warehouse leadership, Inventory Control, Replenishment, other warehouse personnel• External: N/AWORK ENVIRONMENT• The work will take place both at a desk and in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.Minimum QualificationsRelated Experience/Requirements:• Minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.• Excellent telephone and customer service ability.• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.• Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.• Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.Education• High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.Preferred Qualifications• Prior slotting experience preferred.• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.• Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.Certifications/Training• XATA and Checkpoint experience.Physical Qualifications• Must be able to perform the following physical activities for described length of time:OCCASIONALLY: 1% - 33 / FREQUENTLY: 34% - 66% / CONTINUOUSLY: 67% - 100% or NEVERJOB REQUIRES WORKER TO:FREQUENCY:STAND FREQUENTLYWALK FREQUENTLYDRIVE VEHICLE N/ASIT FREQUENTLYLIFT1-10 lbs (Sedentary) OCCASIONALLY11-20 lbs (Light) OCCASIONALLY21-50 lbs (Medium) OCCASIONALLY51-100 lbs (Heavy) OCCASIONALLYOver 100 lbs (Very Heavy) N/ACARRY1-10 lbs (Sedentary) OCCASIONALLY11-20 lbs (Light) OCCASIONALLY21-50 lbs (Medium) OCCASIONALLY51-100 lbs (Heavy) OCCASIONALLYOver 100 lbs (Very Heavy) N/APUSH/PULL*1 OCCASIONALLYCLIMB/BALANCE*2 OCCASIONALLYSTOOP/SQUAT FREQUENTLYKNEEL FREQUENTLYBEND FREQUENTLYREACH ABOVE SHOULDER FREQUENTLYTWIST OCCASIONALLYGRASP OBJECTS*3 FREQUENTLYMANIPULATE OBJECTS*4 OCCASIONALLYMANUAL DEXTERITY*5 OCCASIONALLY1 (Push/Pull: Hand truck, gate, straps, metal ramp, truck door, dolly, boxes, truck gear shift)2 (Climb/Balance: In/Out Truck/Trailer to cab. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $22.00/hr and $28.00/hr. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.
