Senior Javascript Engineer

UserEvidence is a SaaS platform that unlocks stories from happy customers, and automatically creates a library of beautiful content assets. We are the only platform purpose-built to unlock customer love at scale. Credibility and noise are huge issues in B2B marketing and sales. We believe companies can sell a lot more when they let their customers do the talking, and show real-life evidence and feedback from their users.

We're looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer with strong experience in Node.js (Express) and React. You'll play a key part in shaping our backend services, improving code quality, and delivering new features across our product roadmap.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with product and design
• Evolve our Express.js backend, improving architecture and best practices
• Help increase automated test coverage across the codebase
• Contribute to the React frontend and ensure cohesive end-to-end functionality
• Lead by example: write clean, maintainable code and perform thoughtful code reviews
• Participate actively in the team by sharing knowledge, and contributing to collaborative problem-solving
• Contribute to sprint planning, architecture decisions, and roadmap execution

• 5+ years of professional JavaScript experience
• Strong expertise in Node.js / Express
• Solid experience with React on the frontend
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
• A track record of technical leadership and mentoring developers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Bonus: Located in the Greater Seattle area with ability to work from our Bellevue office occasionally (remote candidates are also welcome)
