Reporting to the Design Engineering Lead, the Intern will assist design engineers while working with all departments to create and continuously improve our products to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Väderstad is excited to announce an opportunity for a Design Engineering Intern in Wahpeton, USA! If you have a passion for farming and a knack for engineering, this could be the perfect fit for you. As a Design Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our talented design engineers to create and enhance products that meet and often exceed our customers' expectations. This role involves engaging with various departments, giving you a chance to see firsthand how our ideas transform into innovative agricultural solutions. We believe in offering our team members great career opportunities in a rapidly evolving workplace, and we value diversity, ensuring all candidates are considered based on their qualifications and merit. To thrive in this role, you should be enrolled in an Engineering degree program—preferably in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering—and have some experience with Creo and Windchill software. Your abilities to create and revise engineering drawings will certainly come in handy. A solid understanding of metal fabrication techniques is a plus! Strong communication and organizational skills are vital as you’ll be collaborating with the R&D team to build and test new machines. If you’re eager to learn and can think critically and analytically, we’d love to see how you can contribute to our ongoing quest for quality and innovation.
