Senior Frontend Engineer -Sensors & Connectivity

Verkada is a leading cloud-based B2B physical security company offering integrated security products through a single cloud platform. They are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Sensors & Connectivity team, contributing to impactful and intuitive user experiences with autonomy and collaboration across frontend, backend, and firmware domains.

Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript with mastery of scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, and classes
Strong architectural understanding of custom components, custom UI, and cross-browser support
Experience with HTTP protocols and debugging techniques
Familiarity with at least one server-side framework and one database system

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality product experiences on Verkada's Command web platform using React
Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create user-centric features
Mentor and support other engineers within the team
Contribute to backend services and other parts of the technology stack as needed

Education

Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
