Visa Sourcing has an opportunity for an ambitious, self-going, results-driven and customer oriented professional to join the Sourcing team and help us to drive commercial projects and continuous improvements with focus on supporting the integration of acquired entities. Role Accountability

For the 15 month fixed term, the role holder will be accountable for providing hands-on support to our Sourcing & Procurement and M&A teams in line with global and regional strategies and plans, and to manage effectively and efficiently the ongoing and upcoming M&A integration projects.

Working with cross-functional teams across Finance and other functions to continue to shape the Post M&A Integration (PMI) practices in Sourcing & Procurement, hands-on supporting the team, delivering on the M&A strategy and plans and taking full ownership for all related activities.

This role offers a great opportunity to engage with large number of stakeholders and peers within the Sourcing, Finance, and M&A community, to drive enhancements of the ways of working, delivering efficiencies, financial benefits, and other added value to the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the integration of Visa's acquired entities into Visa's Sourcing & Procurement policies, processes and systems, with a specific focus on the integration of Featurespace

  • Have knowledge and understanding of M&A and PMI best-practices and a comprehensive understanding of how these fit into the overall Visa and Sourcing & Procurement strategy ensuring overall success and tangible contribution to the defined objectives

  • Hands-on support for post M&A integration in Procurement, including change management, communications, training delivery, data analytics, contracts review, synergy identification to implementation of agreed integration plans and activities, based on the defined priorities

  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of internal financial operational procedures to navigate through the Source-to-Pay process

  • Engage, build and maintain relevant stakeholders' relationships across Finance and other functions to understand requirements

  • Build relationships with key finance and business stakeholders at Visa's acquired entities, including occasional travel to their offices

  • Collaborate with Legal to review supplier contracts in support of any migration, consolidation, or novation activities

  • Develop standard procedures, processes, and contribute to continuously developing the Playbook to support integration for future acquired entities globally

  • Support planning and prioritization for the delivery of sourcing activities (RFx), to ensure that the most important opportunities in terms of synergies, cost savings and risk mitigation are delivered

  • Have excellent knowledge and experience of procurement systems and data analytics 

  • Collaborate and share knowledge with the wider Sourcing and Finance teams

We are aiming to move fast, and the environment is dynamic thus there are likely to be some changes in responsibilities and priorities so we expect you to be flexible embracing Visa's desire to be bold, move fast, and transform with velocity, which comes with personal development and new exciting learnings!

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

•Educated to degree level
•Previous experience in sourcing & procurement or management consulting, or a similar role, ideally having supported M&A activities in Procurement (due diligence and/or post integration)
•Advanced procurement and sourcing technical and analytical skills and strong knowledge of what good looks like
•Project management and change management skills with experience in delivering large and complex projects
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
•Knowledge and experience in spend data analytics and related tools
•Knowledge of Ariba and related S2P processes
•Team player with energy, pace and an impeccable track record of delivery
